The SeptinGuard manufactured by Nuove Energie consists of a stainless steel tank which incorporates an in-channel Vanguard V2 Self-cleaning screen with 6 mm spacing.
The SeptinGuard tank is fed directly from the incoming tanker trucks or by gravity from a receiving station.
The on-board control panel includes all necessary controls for operating the screen and motorized inlet valve.
A level switch located inside the tank actuates the Vanguard Screen when the level of septage in the tank reaches a predetermined level, and keeps the screen running long enough to insure removal of all the screenings from the tank.
Three spray bars are incorporated into the SeptinGuard design to insure that the screening belt and the tank are kept as clean as possible from all fecal matter. The system is compact and is completely covered to make sure that odors are kept to a minimum and that contact by the operators with biological material is prevented.
