1) ULTRAFILTRATION:
semipermeable membranes filtration.
A micro-macro molecular splitting up is executed by means of differences of pressure.
The filtered fluid is the "permeate", the filtration leftover is the "concentrate".
Nuove Energie works on the membranes filtration field since 1983 and manufactures plants to solve split-up issues
in various industrial and civil applications.
TANNING INDUSTRY: the liming bath treatment through UF allows recovery and
reuse of the permeate, which contains sodium sulphide, while the concentrate gets recovered as fertilizer by
specialized firms.
TEXTILE INDUSTRY: dyeing baths water recovery and reuse, chemical products
recovery as indigo blue and wastewaters purification.
OTHER INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS: separation process of the emulsified oil,
degreasing plants, separation of surfactants, dyestuffs, inks, lactics, paints etc. with wastewater purification.
2) MBR PLANTS (membrane biological reactor)
the employment of the UF technology into the biological plants provide several benefits:
• Enormous improvement of outgoing water quality with bowing down of pollution parameters.
• Important decrease of sludge quantity produced.
DIPPED MEMBRANES: used in the exiting plants to improve performances when the
ponds volumes extension is not possible.
SURFACED MEMBRANES: plant design solution which concerns the skid complete of
membranes pack and accessories outside the biological oxidation tank.
PILOT PLANTS: Nuove Energie gives at its clients disposal its own pilot plants
to estimate the membranes technology results by means of demo tests.
